With the 2018 show season, I decided to take 3 ambassadors. These are 3 riders from Zone 1 who represent my photography and in exchange get free show pictures and discounts on photshoots. I will be taking different ambassadors for the 2019 season. If you are interested, please contact me with questions and to let me know you wish to apply!! I've learned about so many more aspects of the horse world that I would've never explored without having my ambassadors. It is really amazing to work with people you haven't really known before and to get to know them so well through this program! Please take the time to read this page and get to know my 2018 ambassadors!
"I personally do not own a horse but have been riding and showing for about 7 years. I do jumpers and eventing all throughout the summer and do IEA all other seasons. I wanted to be an ambassador for Persie because she is an amazing photographer and so nice and helpful in all aspects. All of the shoots I have had with Persie have gone great and turned out amazingly. She has a lot of experience taking pictures and knows what looks good. I have loved being an ambassador so far!"
"I have a 17-year-old Oldenburg gelding named Jasper and we kind of do a little bit of everything. We have found our home in the jumpers but are planning on taking a swing in the adult eq/hunters this summer! Maybe throw in a hunter derby!! Jasper and I have been together for 4 years (wow time flies). He is certainly one of a kind and is my everything. I also have a Mustang mare Star who is 22 and retired with a friend of ours! Throughout high school, I rode in IEA and was captain of my team senior year! From there I went ride in College and am now captain of my IHSA team as well. I currently compete in Intermediate fences and flat. A funny thing about me is that I make really weird faces while I ride and my teammates always seem to catch them on camera! I am hoping Persie will be able to catch some of those too hahaha!! I wanted to be an ambassador for Persie Baroody Photography because I wanted to help spread her business! I love helping people be able to expand on things and she has a true talent for photography so why wouldn’t I want to be apart of that?! I cannot wait to see what her future holds!!"
"I studied Musical Theater and advertising at Suffolk University. I work as a full-time hair stylist in the Boston area where I was recently awarded best wedding hairstylist of 2016 and 2017. I have been riding since the age of 7 where I primarily studied eventing and dressage. I have three horses (well two and one pony). Preston is a 17.3 H Hanoverian/Belgium cross chestnut gelding. He was found in a field in Canada and was green broke in 2015. I have successfully competed him up to second level with hopes to keep climbing towards Grand Prix and enjoy fox hunting and eventing him. Cedrick is a 17 H (almost, still growing) just turned 3 year old, bay, Holsteiner Gelding out of Catiago. I have had him since he was a 6-week old colt. I hope to bring him down centerline at Grand Prix one day. For now, he continues to grow! Parry the pony is a 13-year-old welsh pony, I hope to share him with my amazing niece and nephews and teach him to compete in combined driving events. I am so excited to be apart of a young, talented photographer's quest of becoming a superstar photographer! I love supporting local young talent, especially in the equine world”
